Those amazing odds that would make you win so much money on a small bet on that game you were sure the big team wouldn’t win because the home team’s doing so well lately can be gone is seconds. Grasp the opportunity or don’t.
A guide to gambling would tell you not to rush into anything, and I agree. But knowing when the final decision has been made in your brain is crucial. If it’s fold, fold it and fight another day. But if it’s bet on that batter to have a home run, and you still have an inch of doubt in your brain, then you’re not ready to put money into it.
